Research · Data · Evidence
OLGNova is a Nigeria-registered research and evidence organisation. We conduct rigorous research, deploy digital health tools, and deliver strategic communication — building the systems, data, and knowledge that health organisations across Africa and beyond need to make decisions that last.
team members, individual and collaborative
Welcome
OLGNova exists at the intersection of research, data, and action. In our inaugural year, we published in peer-reviewed journals across three continents, presented at international conferences from Kigali to Cambridge, and built digital tools that are already changing how health data is collected and used in underserved communities.
We are not waiting to be studied. We are defining the questions — and building the infrastructure to answer them.
That includes an electronic medical records and data management system, developed with technology partners and deployed at medical outreaches, converting paper-based processes into structured, actionable evidence. Our tools were built where most systems fail — and that is exactly what makes them work.
What We Do
Six capabilities spanning the full arc from research question to deployed system.
End-to-end research services published in peer-reviewed journals including Wiley, PLOS Digital Health, and the Great Britain Journal Press — covering digital health, health workforce, antimicrobial resistance, mental health, cardiovascular screening, and more.
Targeted data collection aligned to community needs and organisational goals. We have engaged hundreds of participants across multiple countries through structured surveys, cross-sectional studies, and qualitative research.
In partnership with technology partners, we design, build, and deploy electronic medical record (EMR) systems and outreach data management tools for medical programmes in resource-limited settings — converting paper-based processes into structured, usable digital evidence.
We synthesise evidence, manage organisational data, and translate complex findings into accessible reports, policy briefs, and white papers that inform decisions at the organisational and policy level.
Compelling narratives, policy briefs, and communication strategies that amplify your mission. Our work with Social Voices on digital disinformation and democratic integrity in Nigeria exemplifies this approach.
Rigorous tracking, evaluation, and stakeholder alignment from inception to completion. We have managed hospital-based studies, outreach data projects, and community qualitative research across multiple partner organisations.
Partners
OLGNova's insights transformed the way we engage with our stakeholders. Their support was instrumental in aligning our strategy with real community needs.
Peace IraguhaChief Operations Officer, Lifesten Health RwandaOLGNova is supporting us in studying disinformation as we uncover how it is experienced, amplified, and internalised, particularly in communities often overlooked in global discourse. Through our collaboration with their team, we hope to empower platforms, policymakers, and the public with evidence that drives meaningful change.

In our first year, we published in Wiley, PLOS Digital Health, ScienceDirect, and the Great Britain Journal Press, and presented at international conferences including Trinity College Dublin, Queen's University Belfast, the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, the European and Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership Forum, and the Geneva Sustainability Centre.
Our digital tools and research methodologies were designed for environments with limited infrastructure, low bandwidth, and high complexity. What works in a rural outreach clinic in Kaduna works in a refugee camp in East Africa — and it works better than systems built in easier conditions.
We work with health technology companies, NGOs, foundations, and academic institutions across Africa and beyond — including Lifesten Health Rwanda, Social Voices, the Jennifer Etuh Foundation, and the Adebola Ibiyode Empowerment Foundation.
Our team has presented and collaborated across Rwanda, Nigeria, the UK, Ireland, Switzerland, and beyond — bringing global perspective to challenges that are too often studied from a distance.
